Can we hear wedding bells soon for Ashanti and boyfriend Nelly? Well, this R&B Star Ashanti had give off a hint that she will, in fact, marry her rapper boyfriend Nelly this year!
Ashanti and Nelly have their relationship for 4 years but it’s only 4 months ago that they actually made the announcement that they are really a couple. It’s really difficult to keep a high-profile relationship a secret but they managed to do it. Or did they? There were lots of rumors circulating about the Ashanti and Nelly relationship but both had denied everything but this did not stop the rumors from circulating. Well, it’s just like how the saying goes, “if there’s a smoke, there’s fire.”
During Ashanti’s interview with US Weekly, she said that she is absolutely thinking about getting married to Nelly this year. She believes though that she still needs to do a few things more before walking down that aisle.
But, despite this exciting revelation from Ashanti, she still urge her fans to not believe in all the gossips about her and Nelly. Even though the media had indeed predicted that they will be getting married and that they were actually an item, she still insists that fans should not believe everything they read.
She even said, “I should have had 6 or 7 kids, been married 3 times and secretly engaged now. But none of that are true.” Well, as long as we can expect the Ashanti-Nelly nuptial soon, all fans are for sure going to stay tuned.
