Rapper Fatboy Slim was in rehab for his alcohol addiction. Many Hollywood celebrities should follow him and flood the rehabilitation centers all over America for the same type of addiction. Fatboy, Kudos to you!

Fatboy Slim checked himself in a clinic in South England in March as he has been battling with his addiction for some time now. This is indeed the best act he had done for himself and hopefully this will go all the way to his remission.

Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim had decided that if he wanted to kick his addiction to booze, he should decide to voluntarily check himself in and he did just that.

Fatboy Slim is a British disc jockey as well as a musician and a producer. Fatboy Slim had received several awards as well as great feedback from fans who bought his albums. In 1999 he won 3 awards from the MTV music awards for the video “Praise You”. He won best direction, best breakthrough video as well as best choreography.

It’s been years since Fatboy Slim really made a groundbreaking appearance and songs but that doesn’t mean he was inactive. He played at Glastonbury Festival in 2008 and as a matter of fact, this year he had toured in Australia for their festival Good Vibrations.

It is possible that Fatboy will retire from his DJ career because it is presumed this will make him drink again. He will coninue to make music at home, but will put an end to all the parties, concerts and tours.
