American Idol winner Jordin Sparks has even more to celebrate with her hit single No Air having reached number 1 in the Radio 1 official chart on RnB singles. This melancholy yet uplifting single is the perfect vehicle for Jordin to show off her vocal techniques and the melody is reminiscent of good 90s pop. Her collaboration with Chris Brown surely had something to do with the success of the single.
At the moment Jordin is preparing her US tour which is set to kick off on August 5. She will be performing with Jesse McCartney and she has been looking forward to it. She has great respect for Jesse as a musician and professional who always gives his all on stage. Another reason she is looking forward to this tour is the fact that she had to cancel a number of shows on Alicia Keys’ tour due to throat problems.
Her hit single No Air is available to order at HMV, Play.com, CD WOW and can be downloaded from iTunes, and its soulful melody has rightly put it at number 1 in the UK, where technically its summer, but we need someone to remind us.
