During her concert in LA at Dodger Stadium, Madonna sang the song “Human Nature” with Britney Spears but this time without kissing.
Britney has left the stage before the entrance of her former lover – Justin Timberlake who was supposed to sing “4 Minutes” together with Madonna. In the audience there were stars like Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Fergie and more.
Madonna also has something to say regarding Proposition 8 or Prop 8 which is a proposed legislation that involves laws and legislation regarding same sex marriage in the state of California. It was denied during the last elections when most Californians voted against the proposition.
Everyone wanted their voice to be heard as politicians, civil rights activists have tried to get out on the street or different media outlets to information the people of what they think. Madonna even gave her statement on Prop 8…only a little bit too late.
She was already outspoken in pushing Proposition 8 but for some reason, she didn’t vigorously said anything about the topic days before the election. She made a brief statement about it during her Bay Area concert in San Francisco but didn’t really dwell on it.
Madonna should take a cue on celebrities who openly supported same sex marriage. Ellen DeGeneres and her partner were married in California and Brad Pitt is still not getting married to Angelina as a way to support same sex marriage. There are a lot celebrities that supports same sex marriage and each of them has something to say. If Madonna wants to be really heard, she could have done better.
