Avid fans of Whitney Houston can finally rejoice. The supreme diva performed at the pre-Grammy party last February 7 2009 and wowed the crowd with her outstanding performance. She looked radiant and dazzling as she made her way onto the stage to perform for her mentor Clive Davis at a party honoring him. She sang some of her most famous songs such as “I Will Always Love You”, the soundtrack of her movie The Bodyguard, and although she rendered it a little differently (she didn’t belt out the high notes like she did before) the crowd still applauded her for a wonderful presentation.

One of the persons she awed with her performance was actor Jamie Foxx who said that the singer was definitely back, seemed happy and even added “This is a new beginning,” as he captured Whitney’s show on video like a love struck fan.

Whitney is among the top ten all time divas, a powerful singer and a best-selling artist, not to mention a very stylish and elegant woman. However, she recorded and released her last album on 2002 and hasn’t had a new one ever since. After that, she fell from the limelight due to her chaotic personal life, unpredictable actions and her use of drugs.

But even though all seemed lost, she’s back in tip-top shape and she’s gaining back her long line of adoring fans. More good things are sure to come her way as a new album is said to be in the works and would be released this year. With all these praises and great comments, it‘s no mistake that she’s making a big comeback and it looks like she’s planning to stay on top.
