The-Dream is both a producer and a singer-songwriter. The-Dream is the composer of Rihanna’s most famous song “Umbrella” but stepping out from the shadows of famous singers, this brilliant songwriter is now making songs and singing them as well. He had an album released in 2007 entitled Love Hate where he received very positive reviews from critics. He debuted at number 30 on the Billboard hit list and the album continues to rake in more sales with its 12 beautiful R&B songs.

Now, The-Dream will release another album entitled Love vs. Money. It is scheduled to be release on March under the Def Jam Recordings. The-Dream said this album would be like the first album but with more to offer. So, we can still expect great RnB music from this guy on his second album!

The RnB Singer Wayna had been arrested from the Houston Airport after her collapsible police baton had been detected before she got on a plane. It is illegal to bring such weapons and although she will just be using it as props, it was no excuse for the airport police.

Woyneab Miraf Wondwossen or famously known as Wayna was charged by possessing a prohibited weapon after the 24-inch baton was discovered from her carry-on bag at the checkpoint of the Bush International Airport in Houston.

Jordin Sparks is the woman in between John Mayer and the Jonas Brothers. No it’s not a love triangle in between John Mayer and the most popular brothers in the world, but Jordin Sparks will be performing with Mayer as well as with the Jonas Brothers.

Tomorrow, Jordin Sparks will have a wonderful night performing with John Mayer at the One Splendid Evening benefit for Save the Music Foundation of VH1. By June, she would be on a tour together with the Jonas Brothers!

Jordin Sparks also said that she had been a huge fan of John Mayer that when she was asked to be a part of his performance, she just said “Yes! Sign me up please!” And she did sign up for it.

Jordin also confirmed that she will be going on tour with the Jonas Brothers. So far she can only confirm about the U.S. tour that would take much of her time for this year. She also said that she’s so excited to be going on tour with the famous JoBros.

Originally, Ciara’s third album was supposed to be out last summer but it had been moved to Dec. 9 2008 and now it’s been moved again! Perhaps it would be released this spring unless they can’t find the right single that would deem worthy enough for the album to be released.

What to blame for the pushing of release for this third album? All fingers are pointed to the first single they released entitled “Go Girl” which was produced by T-Pain. The song did not get the oomph needed for the release of the new album. It went out of the Billboard’s hit chart as fast as it debuted. It only reached No. 78 in the hot 100 chart. After that first single, they tried again. This time with the song “Never Ever”.

Singer turned actress Mandy Moore got married in a very discrete wedding ceremony with boyfriend and fellow singer Ryan Adams in Savannah, GA. They only got engaged for a month before their big day and it came as a surprise to some as they’ve been going out and cooling off, on and off for about a year.

Something might’ve struck Ryan Adams that he didn’t want Mandy to ever go away and he popped the question. After they got engaged, Moore had announced that what they want for a wedding is really a quiet and solemn ceremony with just a few people as witness. Mandy Moore said in an interview, “Hopefully, it can happen and slip by unnoticed by everybody. I guess we have to be sort of sneaky about it, but I’ll see what I can accomplish”.

Mandy Moore is an accomplished singer before she even stepped into making movies. She is a terrific actress too and that’s very rare of an accomplishment for singers like her. Ryan Adams, on the other hand, is into the alternative country to rock. He sings and he’s also a songwriter. He was also a producer and produced a couple or more albums in the past as well as contributed to many different albums including that of Counting Crows.

Award-winning rapper Kanye West was charged on Wednesday for the scuffle that transpired on Sept. 11, 2008 at the Los Angeles International Airport. He was charged with theft, battery and vandalism. He was accused by the LA District’s attorney office for smashing some camera equipment during the encounter.

Kanye West was not the only one who had charges filed against him. His Manager, Mr. Don Crawley was also charged with 2 counts for vandalism as well as battery and grand theft for his involvement with the whole encounter at the Los Angeles International Airport on Sept. 11, 2008. If Kanye West is proven guilty, he will be facing 2 and ½ years in jail for misdemeanor charges. His manager, on the other hand, if proven to be guilty with the charges, will be facing up to 5 years!

Nicole is well known for being a wild child. She’s been into drugs and alcohol and she just went wild for years when she was in her teens forward. Her father, Lionel Richie had attempted to give herself the distance she needed so she could think for herself and sort out of her life.

It’s difficult for a parent to do that and he did not stop thinking about his daughter every minute of everyday, hoping that she would finally get it right and that her life would be back on track. If he won’t do this now, she might end up doing more damage to herself and the problems might end up being irreversible.

R&B singer Brandy returned last fall with her fifth album titled “Human”, where her single “Right Here (Departed)” is included. This is her first record after signing with Epic Records and she said that it’s her most personal one to date.

Since her last album “Afrodisiac” last 2004, the Grammy-winning singer has been recording for this latest one on and off since 2005 but it wasn’t until late of 2008 where she really pursued finishing the project together with her estranged mentor Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins after they finally settled their disagreement from way back in 2003.

Her new album has gotten a lot of good reviews including one from Entertainment Weekly’s Henry Goldblatt where he took notice of the change in Brandy’s singing.

American singer/songwriter and multiple Grammy winner, Erica Abi Wright or Erykah Badu as she is most commonly known has a 2008 album bearing almost the same title, New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) released in 2008  has received a lot of praise and is recommended by a lot of music lovers. The lyrics may be a little weird for some but her music has captivated a lot of audiences and they continue to love her over the years. In the first part of the album, she combines herself with her records thus creating music that is as astonishing as her. The way she molds hip hop with her unique blend of music is what makes her the only one of her kind although she has been compared to Billie Holiday during her first few years in the biz.

Rihanna, one of the world’s favourite R&B artists, has been in the limelight lately and one of the reasons why just made me like her more.

The Disturbia singer is currently looking for a bone marrow donor to help a 5-year-old New York girl named Jasmina Amena get a second chance in life due to acute leukaemia. Jasmina is an African-American girl and it seems that she’s having a hard time finding a match because there aren’t much registered donors that might be a same match.

According to the singer, she saw the video of the 5-year-old and it instantly caught her attention, breaking her heart. She’s now urging people to have their names registered with DKMS, the association which seeks out donors for bone marrow donations to help save the little girl’s life.
Rihanna’s sympathy for Jasmina shows that celebrities do care for those they don’t have any relations with and though it may seem like a little matter and not a whole 3rd world country; this gesture can definitely save a life.
