The winner for Britain’s Got Talent 2009 has finally been announced. Susan Boyle was expected to be the winner for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent after her audition piece which rocked the entire nation and the whole world. She was the most viewed Britain’s Got Talent contestant as she wowed the audience and the judges with her beautiful voice that you just couldn’t believe your eyes that such an angelic voice would be coming out of her.

Her semi-final piece wasn’t that good though. You could really see her anxiety and she did have some sharp notes here and there but it wasn’t really that bad. After counting the votes, she got the highest votes and immediately went to the finals. That wasn’t shocking at all considering the impact she made with “I dreamed a dream” especially on YouTube.

During the finals, she proved everybody that she could stand the pressure and she made the best performance yet. But, unfortunately, someone else had a better performance.

The American male group called Day 26 had just released a new song entitled “So Good”. The group is selected by Sean Combs after a reality show in search of a new band at MTV entitled “Making the Band 4”.

The group Day 26 was formed in 2007 and they had released their first album which is self-entitled on March 25 of 2008 where their first single for the album had reached number 1 on the Billboard hit charts.

Their second album is entitled Forever In a Day. Now they had just recently released the So Good song which is a beautiful sweet ballad song and is produced by none other than Brian Coz. It had surfaced on the internet just days ago and it’s getting quite a good reputation.

Clay Aiken is now saying that he is sorry for his colorful criticism of Adam Lambert, a runner up in this year’s season of American Idol, when he sang “Ring of Fire” where Clay said that blood poured out of his ears upon hearing him sing that song.

Well, blood didn’t really pour out of his ears but Clay isn’t really happy with Lambert’s version of the song. But Clay hopes Lambert didn’t get it as a big blow from Clay especially because Clay is well known for his “very” colorful (and happy?) personality.

Clay Aiken used other words to describe what he feels about Lambert’s version with words such as “slightly frightening”, “contrived” and “awful”. But despite all of these from Clay, he still asks for forgiveness from Lambert and hopes he would forgive him and won’t take it personally.

The Grammy award winner RnB singer Usher has a 7-year-old photo of himself and he gave it to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Billboard was unveiled on April 29, 2009 in Atlanta. Usher was there together with his mother and they are hoping that this cute image of the 7-year-old kid who turned out to be one of the pop sensations of today will raise awareness to the youth and be inspired by him.

The billboard will help raise awareness needed by the club and this is because Usher credits the club to have made such a big difference in his life. There are other artists who also have their childhood billboards with the likes as Martin Sheen, Denzel Washington, Shaq O’Neal and many more. The president of the Boys & Girls Club of America hopes that the effort put up by these artists would also spark even more alumni to contribute and act as role models.

After the scandal involving Rihanna and Chris Brown, nudity pictures of Rihanna have been made public but even if all publicity is publicity, the pictures did not boost the artist’s sales according to Nielsen SoundScan. But obviously, the beautiful Rihanna was on everyone’s lips on the Internet, on blogs and chat rooms.

On the other side, Chris Brown is losing his stardom. After his assault with Rihanna, his songs are being dropped by Radio stations as requested by their listeners. His good image is now a goner and his fans are now turning against him. Will he still have a career? As of now, Chris Brown is definitely a goner.

Coldplay was giving away their free CD to all the fans that attended their “Viva La Vida” tour this summer. The title of the free album is “LeftRightLeftRightLeft” and many fans loved it because the songs were played live and of course because it’s theirs for free.

Although thousands of fans already had their very own copy of the said album, many fans were not able to make it to their music tour and therefore, were left out in the dust with no free album to brag. But now, anybody can get their copy of Coldplay’s “LeftRightLeftRightLeft” by just going to their website and downloading a copy! And yup, it’s still for free.

Coldplay loves playing live music and they made this album to thank their fans who had given them reasons to keep on playing and making this tour happen. The 9 tracks on the album were actually recorded on the “Viva La Vida” tour itself and from different cities. It’s great because it’s live and you could really feel the songs and appreciate the effort by Coldplay to give thanks to their die-hard fans.

Dionne Warwick belongs to the top 10 list of the worst tax offenders in California and she’s accompanied by another celebrity, the comedian Sinbad who also owes California a whopping $2.5 million! Dionne Warwick owes the state of California $2.2 million! You wouldn’t expect this from a woman of her caliber. A woman who is humanitarian, a former Ambassador of Health for the United States, an activist, an Ambassador for Food & Agricultural organization, a famous singer and actress. Now, with all her brands, a not so good tag had been added and that is “top 10 California Tax Offender”.

Many Californians are upset with tax offenders like her. Celebrities or whoever you are should pay your taxes and no one is exempt of that. Now, Dionne Warwick is talking with the board for taxes about her tax bill.

Can we hear wedding bells soon for Ashanti and boyfriend Nelly? Well, this R&B Star Ashanti had give off a hint that she will, in fact, marry her rapper boyfriend Nelly this year!

Ashanti and Nelly have their relationship for 4 years but it’s only 4 months ago that they actually made the announcement that they are really a couple. It’s really difficult to keep a high-profile relationship a secret but they managed to do it. Or did they? There were lots of rumors circulating about the Ashanti and Nelly relationship but both had denied everything but this did not stop the rumors from circulating. Well, it’s just like how the saying goes, “if there’s a smoke, there’s fire.”

During Ashanti’s interview with US Weekly, she said that she is absolutely thinking about getting married to Nelly this year. She believes though that she still needs to do a few things more before walking down that aisle.

Dr. Jan Adams is a popular and highly publicized plastic surgeon as he had appeared in different shows including Oprah. One of his patients was Kanye West’s mom Dr. Dande West who had breast reduction and tummy tuck surgery. The next day, she passed away.

It was controversial and after the operation, many fans of Dr. Jan Adams had second thoughts of being under the knife with him. It was 2007 when Dande West had died but now, the doctor who may have caused her demise is losing his license. It’s not because he was charged for her death but it’s because of his driving under influence convictions with 2 accounts.

Dr. Adams had admitted the allegation but he may petition again for reinstatement after 3 years. This is his second time in one year to have lost his license as a physician. The first one was in January when the medical board didn’t renew his license immediately for the reason that he failed to give his child support pay to his ex. (more…)

Yes it is confirmed. Ashanti was cast to play Dorothy in the hit Broadway musical “The Wiz”. The show will run in New York City for the summer. It’s the major role of the whole show and for sure it’s going to be a challenge for Ashanti to play live on every show at the New York City Center. From June 12 to July 5, Ashanti and the other casts will play the all-time classic show that was first performed back in 1975.

The Wiz is an award-winning Broadway musical and had received 7 Tony Awards. It was even turned into a movie in 1978 where Michael Jackson played the role of ScareCrow while Diana Ross played the Dorothy part.

Will Ashanti give justice to the part and make Diana Ross proud? Well, we just have to wait and see. It’s a lot harder for Ashanti because playing live on Broadway is no joke. You have to memorize all your lines and master everything because you are not allowed to make any mistake while on stage.
