Speech Debelle had released an album entitled Speech Therapy, an album that will speak your language and will go straight to your heart. It includes the song “Finish the Album” which is in fact the oldest song from her tracks. This song is what she used to play when she first visited Big Dada some 5 good years ago. Well, Speech Debelle had been through some tough times in her life and in this particular song has the theme that feels that way: an auto-message to finish the album.

Loso’s Way by Fabolous
Loso’s Way had reached the number 1 slot for the top 200 albums that sold an amazing 98,000 copies. Fabolous also had great success with From Nothin’ to Somethin’ which was #2 back in 2007 and it sold over 150,000 albums on the first week of its release!
Loso’s Way is the 5th album signed by Fabolous which has been released just this July 28, 2009. It was originally called “Work Hard, Play Harder” and was set for release by June 30 of this year but was then pushed back to July 28, 2009 so he could include the movie for this album. Loso’s Way has the deluxe and the standard release albums. There is a bonus DVD with the movie Loso’s Way and it features nobody else but Fabolous himself.

Tribute to Aaliyah
Aaliyah was an R&B singer, actress and model whose life was cut short by a plane accident back in August 25, 2001 together with other members of her staff who were with her during the filming of her music video “Rock the Boat” in the Bahamas. The cause of the plane crash was said to be the overweight in the craft since Aaliyah and her crew brought all of their heavy equipment on the said flight instead of leaving them behind.
After the news came out that Aaliyah died, everyone who knew her was shocked with the very tragic ending to this beautiful young princess whose career was at its peak. Her third album then became number 1 from number 19 just shortly after her death .

Dizzee Rascal
Dizzee Rascal is gaining grounds with the many awards he received and with the increasing number of fans he has. The success does not make Dizzee Rascal arrogant and proud, in fact he is still as humble as he was back when fame and fortune wasn’t his to enjoy.
Dizzee Rascal was at the Glastonbury performance and just a week after his performance there, he was onstage again at the Festival in Hyde Park where 25,000 people were eager and excited to see him perform.

Rihanna and Chris Brown together again?
We all have heard the shocking news about Chris Brown hitting R&B sensation Rihanna’s face. Everybody was surprised and confused on what really happened and what the reason was.
After pleading guilty to felony assault and all the charges had been filed, Chris Brown gave, according to some people, a very sincere apology not only to former girlfriend Rihanna but also to his fans. The judge then gave him the sentence and people thought that was the end of it. Apparently it wasn’t.
News broke out, just a few weeks after the alleged beating, that they were back together. This story was confirmed by an insider last February saying, “They’re together again. They care for each other.” It was also said that Chris Brown was really glad to be back in the arms of the woman he loved the most.
After a few months Rihanna asked the court to lessen the distance of Brown’s restraining order from 100 yards to 50. Despite all the rumours going around, Rihanna still denies that they are back together. However, even her close friends begin to doubt what the real deal was.

Avril Lavigne – a different new album
Avril Lavigne is said to release her latest album which is going to be a little bit more mellow than her previous albums of the pop-rock kind. Her fourth album is going to be a bit more serious and the album is set to be released by November under RCA.
The album will have less rock noise and more “emotion and feeling” and acustic guitar. What will be the next step in Avril’s change- singing with Mariah Carey?
The 8 songs out of the 12 tracks in the album are produced by her own husband Deryck Whibley. Most of the songs here are acoustics and vocals which makes it very different than the shouting songs she used to sing in her previous albums.
Is this going to be a new beginning for Avril Lavigne aka Mrs. Avril Whibley? She started with this album by singing songs on her home piano which is very different with how she used to start on her previous albums. The 25-year-old singer said that one of the songs was used from the Black Star fragrance TV commercial which she decided to turn into a full song.

Backstreet’s back with new album!
Don’t we just miss the Backstreet boys? They chopped the charts in the 90s and we just can’t get enough of them. They are going to be back with their 9th album – “This is us” which is set to be released in October.
The single from this album is entitled “Straight Through My Heart” which you can listen online on their Myspace page. The album will have a total of 11 tracks that the boys themselves have written and produced but with the help of other artists such as T-Pain, Claude Kelly and Max Martin.
So what should we expect from the Backstreet boys now? Well, they are no longer boys so we should expect more mature songs.
