The winner for Britain’s Got Talent 2009 has finally been announced. Susan Boyle was expected to be the winner for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent after her audition piece which rocked the entire nation and the whole world. She was the most viewed Britain’s Got Talent contestant as she wowed the audience and the judges with her beautiful voice that you just couldn’t believe your eyes that such an angelic voice would be coming out of her.
Her semi-final piece wasn’t that good though. You could really see her anxiety and she did have some sharp notes here and there but it wasn’t really that bad. After counting the votes, she got the highest votes and immediately went to the finals. That wasn’t shocking at all considering the impact she made with “I dreamed a dream” especially on YouTube.
During the finals, she proved everybody that she could stand the pressure and she made the best performance yet. But, unfortunately, someone else had a better performance.
Simon Cowell even said that Diversity’s performance was just perfect and is the only performance that deserves a 10. Although Susan Boyle is the most popular amongst all the finalists but, she still had to accept defeat. She is the 1st runner up of Britain’s Got Talent 2009. Not bad but as the saying goes, almost doesn’t count. Although she could still build her name, she lost the chance to perform in front of the queen. But, maybe someday she could still perform in front of the queen being a popular singer with several platinum albums… Who knows, right?
