Sales of Lil Wayne’s new album “Tha Carter III”, released on June 10, have skyrocketed, thanks to the immense success of his single “Lollipop”, which has become an RnB sensation. In fact, the album sold more than 1 million records last week.

The cover for “Tha Carter III” features a digitally enhanced photo of Lil Wayne himself as a baby. “That’s me! All day. No computers. Only thing was the tattoos. My momma gave me the picture for me to put on the album cover. I don’t know where my momma found that picture. My momma, she gave me that and one more. If you would have saw the other picture, you’d be like, ‘She got too many pictures.’”, he said to MTV.

“Lollipop” has reached number 1 in the Billboard’s Hot 100 and number 1 music video on TRL, however, some reviewers are less than impressed with the song.
