Michael Jackson would be having his “This Is It” series of concerts in one single venue and that is in O2 Arena, London. Fans can’t wait to meet the famous singer who made great timeless songs such as “Beat It”, “Thriller” and “Blood on the Dance Floor”. They just can’t wait to see Michael Jackson strut his stuff again and singing all the oh-so-familiar songs that they loved.
Unfortunately, 4 of the scheduled shows had been rescheduled. The first ever show would be postponed from 8th of July to the 13th of July this year while 3 shows July 10, 12 and 14 have all been moved to March 1st, 3rd, and 6th 2010 respectively. Because of the rescheduling, fans that couldn’t make it can get a full refund for the unfortunate inconvenience.
On one side of the story, Michael Jackson was angry with his gig bookers because he only signed up for just 10 shows but he got a 50-show schedule all of a sudden on the venue. He admitted to his fans who were outside the LA Dance Studio where he was rehearsing that he doesn’t think he is physically in a good enough condition to complete all 50 shows when he only signed up for 10. He also said that he wanted to tour the world with his shows and not have all 50 in just one venue.
Well, let’s just hope he is already fine with his schedule and let’s pray he is indeed in a really good shape now.
