American singer/songwriter and multiple Grammy winner, Erica Abi Wright or Erykah Badu as she is most commonly known has a 2008 album bearing almost the same title, New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) released in 2008  has received a lot of praise and is recommended by a lot of music lovers. The lyrics may be a little weird for some but her music has captivated a lot of audiences and they continue to love her over the years. In the first part of the album, she combines herself with her records thus creating music that is as astonishing as her. The way she molds hip hop with her unique blend of music is what makes her the only one of her kind although she has been compared to Billie Holiday during her first few years in the biz.

With such an awesome first part, her new album is said to be fantastic and a lot of us are awaiting its first single to be aired on the radio. Much like her other albums, it’s music and lyrics probably has a lot of “Erykah” injected into it and this is what the people are anticipating.

In other news, Erykah and her man Jay Electronica is excited at the birth of their new baby born last February 1st and from quoted from ecstatic lips of the new dad, “My daughter is ready. Labour has begun. Everybody stand back. No hospitals. No doctors. No medicine. We’re waiting on midwife to show up,” Erykah’s 4 ½ year old daughter Puma Rose helped her mom go through the labour pains by running her hands. How sweet.
