R. Kelly Fans Excited By The 57 Unreleased Chapters of ‘Trapped In The Closet’
Kelly fans have recently been excited to discover that he has a whopping 57 chapters of rap opera ‘Trapped in the Closet’. When it was released in 2005, no one could have anticipated how big it would become.
With 33 chapters already out (the last having been released last year) the new 57 chapters would take the total up to an incredible 90. No doubt these new chapters will be introduced gradually over a period of time, but it’s amazing to think that the rap star could have so much already lined up to bring out. It’s unsurprising that he has earned a reputation as the “pied piper of RnB’.
The final chapter released ended with stars Sylvester (Kelly) and Twan (Eric Lane) managing to outrun a gang of Italian mobsters, before crashing a taping of Out of the Closet, a Jerry-Springer style talk show. It ended on a real cliffhanger, as the men walk inside just as the show is about to begin.
It’s a series that’s already created quite a stir, mainly because of its originality and uniqueness. It’s been parodied countless times, which ultimately only improves its popularity, and has been compared to great literary works such as Laurence Sterne’s 18th century work The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman.
No doubt the big reveal will get everybody talking about ‘Trapped in the Closet’ once again. Kelly also has a brand new album, Black Panties, so it’s an exciting time for him and his fans.
