Whitney Houston is such a gifted woman with such a beautiful voice that we all missed her when she started having problems with her personal life where drugs were also an issue. She lost her way and was not able to maintain her singing career. Good thing though that she still has a career to come back to because she is already a music icon. For years of absence, her fans never forget but just continued to long for the Whitney Houston that they loved.

Finally, the wait is almost over. She is scheduled to release her come back album by September 1st, 2009. The album is still unnamed but many fans just couldn’t wait. There is a countdown on Whitney Houston’s official website as it ticks down to September 1st when fans could then purchase a copy of her new album that they’ve all been waiting for years. It’s going to be Whitney Houston’s 7th album and hopefully there won’t be any more delays and the album would surely get lots of awards and tearful eyes from fans and loved ones who are just so proud of their Whitney.

The first single from the said album is going to be “I didn’t know my strength”. There’s still no word as to the listing but there’s a rumor that there is a duet with R. Kelly on the album.

Fans just can’t wait. After all, the last album from Whitney was released 7 long years ago.
